Moderators have sympathy and leave this up for at least one day. I have had this advetised in the wanted category with no luck. I am looking for the one part I need to finish my woodgrain dash set. I have bought them and pieced them together and got ripped off by the glovebox piece on 2 seperate e-bay auctions ad have had no luck finding these piece anywhere. I don't want to sell this set since everything else is in very good condition and would love to put it in the car. If you have a piece better than the ones in the pictures I am very interested. I know a lot of members on this site have updated thier car and may have this piece I need. My set matched the one on the top. It is for a 70 Charger. Thanks

Sparky, what a PITA this is gotta be! I wish I had the item for you but here's an idea instead. If you're like me (gotta be OEM) then read no further but if you just want nice woodgrain dash panels again, check out these places that do "wraps". No I'm not talking food  :D they seem to be able to vinyl wrap anything now. Might be worth a little recon.  :shruggy:

I have a full dash set that came off a 70 RT/SE - not sure if you're looking for a full set - trying to keep it all together  :shruggy:

also - how did you get ripped off?  damaged? wrong part?

The pictures were taken at an angle and a little out of focus to hide all the fading, scratches and dings. I contacted seller and they said they in in very good driver condition. You can see the results of what I bought in the pictures above. I already have an excellent cluster, 8 track piece, lower left side and decent right side piece, just hard to see the quality of the pieces from the pics. I just really need the glovebox piece. The two lower pieces look darker in the picture, but they mach the set perfectly, just the way the lighting and angle the pieces were in the shop made them look darker.

There's been plenty of places I've seen in the past selling everything from new do it yourself vinyl woodgrain kits, to plastic overlays. I let all of my Mopar magazine subscriptions run out, so I can't tell you any specific vendor by name, but i know they're out there and not hard to find. When I had a 70 SE, I actully found some wood grain contact paper that looked real good. I put a piece on my radio plate and you could not tell the difference. I plan on buying a new vinyl set whenever I get ready to install the dash in my Super Bee.

That's how this all started, I purchased a woodgrain sticker kit from year one a while back, sanded my pieces for the kit to be put on and low and behold the piece for the glovebox was about 1/2 inch short, I sent it back and after 5 months of waiting year one said they were unable to get the sticker kits so i cancelled the order. Just recently they started offering the sticker kits from a different company. I ordered the sticker piece for the glovebox recently and it did not match so I sent it back, I tried contacting mimousa company for pictures or a sample of thier kit and after 5-7 phone call attempts with no return answer I gave up on them. You can find thier vinyl kits on e-bay all the time with no real pictures, just cartoon images. I put a thread on that too. I also contacted pcg graphics and talked with the salesman who said there were not any good company's coming out with any good vinyl kits that were worth the effort a month or two ago. I noticed year one and pg classics are offering repoduction bezels for around $700, but all it really boils down to is I just need the one piece. It's hard to substitute for an original piece and people don't usually want to let the good ones go. I ended up painting the set I sanded satin black and put that in the car while I scored the cluster, 8 track piece and lower right side from a member here, very good pieces he just did not have the rest to go with it.
