Green assembly line oil filter question

What years were the green assembly line oil filters put on cars? I think 1972 is when they switched over to the red, white, and blue ones but what year did they start with the green ones?

I have one of those with the Dodge "fratzog" stamped in the end rather than the customary curved Mopar "M", and I think it's either a truck piece (same part number though) or an older version of the same filter.

Ok, trying to make up a data base of what years, makes, models would have used it.  Seems like the majority of the cars back then used the L-72 filters.
