Yes I like to tinker with old cars but my real hobby is building/constructing things.  Now I'm no master carpenter by no means just like to build things.  This playhouse I designed myself...had some ideas and just went with it.  First couple of photos is the framing.  This is a 12x16 playhouse and yes for some reason I started in the middle of winter

Now getting more done on it...man it takes time.  It is just funny what you will do for your kids to make them happy..Hannah is my only one and she is like my best friend we do everything together.  She had to come and check it out!!

bookedbydano

All most done!!!

Tilar

Wow, That's quite a play house. Looks great I might add.  :2thumbs:

God must love stupid people; He made so many.

bookedbydano

Finished!!!  This project took a little over a year and a half to complete.. It is insulated, vented and has electricity

Here is Hannah getting her keys...She is just so excited to have her friends over.  Had a few odds and ends to tie up inside.  Whats nice about this House is that I can stand inside and can't touch the ceiling at all

Absolutely stellar work!  I built one of those little houses myself following some $10 plans I got online....didnt turn out any where near as nice as yours!

Thats pretty cool!  Super great work! I had always thought about something like this for my daughters with the thought that after they grow up it could  be easily modified and used as a shed or workshop with some conversion as to not waste the time and expense of the wood.

Thanks everyone....this project is my favorite one I ever did.  The charger is a close second.  With the charger I was building it for myself (Had no girlfriend or kids at the time) ...this however was being built for someone special and that make is so much better and fulfilling.  She is so proud of it...she even had to give the Easter Bunny a tour.  These memories are absolutely priceless!!!!

bookedbydano

Don't get me wrong though I think she loves the charger just as much...she has always love it!!!!

That's pretty awesome, it's like a scale model!

Nice job on the playhouse.

I built one for my daughter several years ago, but there's no electricity running to it. I told her she has to rough it so it builds some character.

That is a really amazing playhouse!  I am not going to show my girls the photos 'cause I know they will pester me until I build one for them.

They got a neat little clubhouse in the backyard but not as nice as that.
