I posted on Electric section but sorry, needed a little bit more attention on this.

I know its an old piece.

Is it actually multispark even the ECU plug looks to be designed plug and play on stock system with Ballast ? ( dual ? )

how many here have experienced this box ? opinions please

It's old. Pretty common in the 70's and maybe 80's. I have a 5C and it works fine.

6C is better, I think the 5C was maybe rated to 6000RPM and the 6C to 7000RPM, that's a guess anyway. 5C was designed for stock engines and the 6C for modified engines that revved higher.

well I decided to buy the one on the pic, with instructions sheet and all, but wanted to know what exactly I was getting... something similar to the MSD 6A then, right ? multispark and all even working with ballast ?

Similar to a 6A alright. I think the instructions will say to run a wire instead of the ballast though. I guess I'm a little weird, I think they're cool because of the Chrysler only plug.

on the ebay it appears quite often the 6A units apparently converted into the 6C system... here is one what ended recently:

I think in fact you can send the 6As it to MSD to be converted :shruggy:

now wondering why the one on ebay doesn't have a positive wire allong with the black one :shruggy:

the one on ebay gets it power from one of the 5 pin connectors like the OE Mopar units do

well, the one I got have 5 pins also like the one on ebay :P LOL. The advantage is I'm getting it with instructions sheets, what is commonly unusual

I hope the instructions are not written in foreign languages like everything else out there

Pisses me off that parts we get at the shop have 20 pages of install instructions, all written in every language

do you want to see a RIDICULOUS over rated  instruction sheet ? look at this TO GIVE THE INSTRUCTION JUST FOR A LAPTOP STAND:

11 languages ( 3 of them are not ilustrated on cover ), half of them hieroglyphics.

DAMN... DIDN'T NEED EVEN TO OPEN THE CLEAR BAG WHERE THE INSTRUCTIONS SHEET AND WARRANTY CARD WAS TO KNOW HOW IT WORKS!!!

and if somebody needs to know, just graphic anti idiot diagrams was enough, no words!!! so no languages added.

Actually I'm agree on instructions sheets in several languages, specially on word market stuff, but just for tecnical for really needed stuff! not for something like this!!!
