Last year was the first time I drove the Charger down there. It was a 900 mile round trip and the longest drive that I'd been on with the car. This year the car will have a NEW stereo, a Gear Vendors overdrive, frame connectors & torque boxes. It should be fun!

I will be there for the first time this year. I think it's just under 4,000 miles round trip. No, I'm not driving.

Yeah my dad and I are going to go, I just had to make sure. We're just gonna go for Saturday.

I'll be there with some friends. Are we going to try to meet up at certain location at the show?

Sound good to me.
Now we just need to figuure a place and time.

Everyone got cell phones or e-mail?

This is going to be about 900 miles round trip for me.

Hopefully Dan and I will be parked together.
I'm not sure if they make everyone park by class or not.

70sixpkrt

I will be going for the first time. I'm bringing my truck instead of my Charger in case I buy some parts.

Troy - I don't know if the last update on the t-shirt list is still current or not but I could use a replacement for my old DC t-shirt (Ill probably be wearing it at the show).
It doesn't look like you have any more Black Mediums short sleeve with the large logo on the front but if the "Long sleeve White L with large logo on front" is still up for grabs Ill buy it from you at the show if you can bring it.

What's the attendance like on sundays? I've only ever been on saturdays and can only make it sunday this year.

Rolling_Thunder

sundays are a good turn out just like saturdays from what I see. There is the judging that day so people get a little more...     antsy.

I'll be there Saturday only - supposed to be 85*

Up to 89 on Saturday now.
Sunday is like 75

I'm really looking forward to the drive down Friday and seeing everyone.

Me too. I'll be driving down on Thursday. Maybe see some fine Mopars along the way.  :popcrn:

Yeah, let's set up a time and place to meet. I'm busy from 7-10am directing parking and with other organizational stuff, but after that I'm free to roam about the show.

I'd say let's meet at my car, but I still don't know which car I'm taking (the 08, the wife's Chally, or my buddy's 72 Satellite). Saturday is tricky because parking is not organized by class (so we can't even say "let's meet by the K-Cars") Anyone wanna volunteer to "host" the group by their car?  Otherwise we could find a "landmark" - like somewhere by the TTI booth or by the CPW Club tent (those two always set up in the same spots) and meet nearby at an agreed upon time.

PM me for my # and/or with any other show related questions.  :icon_smile_big:

I'll be there and can host.
My friend Mark and I will be parked together with our Chargers (Red and Blue) and hopefully Dan and his Road Runner (orange) will be parked with us too.

I say we shoot for a 11AM on Saturday time.
I will have my phone and I can send out a e-mail of our location as well.

PM me your info (number, e-mail or both) and I can help coordinate. (I will send you back mine as well)
I will PM Ponch my info as well.

Steve, I understood it to be that at the Fling the club segregates by car groups and manufacturer (B Plymouth can't associate with B Dodge, etc.).

So they might locate us low-life Road Runners near your upscale Charger neighborhood - or - maybe my Plymouth tribe might be a mile away.  :nana:

I'll find you in any case.  :icon_smile_cool:

Saturday is show n' shine, so you can park wherever you want with whoever you want.  Sunday is a different story since that's when we do judging, so we do separate the cars by Class / Body (ie. we have all the stock B-Bodies together in one area, the restified B-bodies in another, the modified E-bodies in another, and so on, etc), but not by make.
