Anybody ever make their own for a 71-74?
Seems REM is the only maker of package trays and theirs is 58 1/4" and my cars opening is 59 1/4" which leaves around an inch gap in the front, the depth on theirs is perfect.

So I was thinkong about using the one I got that did not fit as a pattern and adding an inch to it, but have 2 questions.

1) how do you cut particle board and get a smooth cut?

2) Went by Home Depot but they only have rough surface board, what can I use to create a smooth finish?

Nevermind, answered my own question. Found the board at HD, I looked in the wrong area the first time.

It is 3/16" particle board at Home depot, had to buy the whole board, but it was $14.

Trying to decide if I want to cut out speaker holes or try and make the slots.
