Hey guys,

I need to order a tail light panel (found that mine is riddled with little rust pinholes) for my '69, and AMD lists Tail Light Brackets that don't come with the panel. The attached picture is what they are showing, but I don't recognize these. Can anyone enlighten me on what these are for?

Those support the trunk lid channel to the top of the taillight housing on either side.
BTW: The little slot on each is where the inner plastic cover screws to.

Got ya! I know what you're talking about now. I was trying to figure out how that had anything to do with mounting the tail lights, because I knew they just mounted on the studs. I may order them too then! They're only about $38 and if I'm replacing the rear trunk gutters, I might as well have new metal through that whole area.

Thanks Domino!!

Speaking of brackets, it seems AMD sells rear bumper brackets only in a front/rear set. At least in their catalogue but Classic sells them separately. I recently bought some stuff from Classic and it came from AMD!
