I just bought a toolbox for the back of my F150, and because of the stupid plastic drop in bed liner it wont sit at the front of the bed its about 2 inches back. Is there any way to bend the liner or move it or do something to make it so I could make my toolbox fit? Its just your standard Delta diamond plate toolbox and the OEM plastic bedliner for a 1998 F150 Supercab 6.5 foot box.

trim the liner or heat the line and cond conform it into shape, never seen one that would keep a toolbox back that far :shruggy:

I'd throw that plastic liner away and put in a spray in bed liner if you're set on having one. Those plastic ones will hold moisture and dirt and rot the floor out of your bed in just a short time. My brothers truck had one in his truck and it started bubbling up the paint in a few spots, and his truck was only a couple years old... Course it was a Chevy.

maybe try using a hair dryer to make the liner more malleable. you might be able to push it in there. otherwise something hotter? failing that, you could always cut it, a few cuts so you can fit the toolbox in there.

Get rid of that plastic pile of crap and go to Walmart. They have a roll on bedliner that is great and looks great... Make sure you prep the bed as they recommend and it will work great for you... You can probably find a HOW TO vid. on You tube for it as well...

Good luck on your mission.
That is all.
