My skills are getting better, building my sons X-mas present..................

I've been working on this for a week.   It was rolled and had a bent frame, three cracks in the frame and I bought it thinking I could fix it.   
I straightened the frame, added some more support bars and fabricated some body panels to give it a better look.  Here is a before and after picture.  I better be done by Saturday.

Chuck really has been working hard on this project for our son.    Something he has never done before, as far as the welding and such. Pics dont do it justice. My only gripe is my house smelled like cookies, brownies, and christmas pine tree,...........now it smells like paint fumes and welding stench from the garage.  Oh well, just the things we do for our kids!

P.S. Ashley is getting a really nice used 90cc quad. (They threw in a whole new body kit too) Both kids are gonna flip their lids!!!!!

Yes, it was a success.   The kids are happy once again and I'm tired.   Up at 5am today and getting ready to go to San Diego for a few days.

Our son has spent a lil cash on new lights, and other upgrades. Going to take both kids, the dog, a picnic, and their toys, to the dry lake bed tomorrow since its the last day of their winter break.  Pics to follow!

Of course it might have been better if he did come with batteries...............that way you could at least switch him off occassionally!
