to me it looks like both would perform as well , the main difference seems to be the billet base plate & metering blocks

Thanks. The metering blocks on both carbs look like they're billet aluminum imo. What's the advantage of having a billet base plate other than looks and weight?

On the cheaper carb the baseplate/metering blocks are not billet aluminum....that is the only difference that i can see. Both should work fine for a street type application.  :2thumbs:
