Cool Stuff!  :o

"This car competed in seven Trans Am races. Ron Grable was the only factory sponsored Dodge driver in 1967."

Cool link.  Don't forget about Bob Tullius in the 1966 Trans Am using a 66 Dart.

Yeah everything else gets pretty overshadowed by the Boss Mustangs and Z28 Camaros.  There was a real variety of cars racing the Trans Am back in the beginning.

No trip to Road America is complete without at least a bratwurst or two.  This was taken on Friday.

The Dart was at Road America this past July.

Do you by chance have any bigger pics of the car? Or some pics of the front fenders up close? Cause I'm trying to replicate it on one of my games, but I can't make out some of the decals and who they are for.

305 was the cubic inch limit for the class at the time.  For 1970 the rules allowed Chrysler to destroke the 340 to meet the size but prior to that I don't think it was allowed.  That is why the Boss Mustang and Z28 both had their high strung 302's.

Prior to that, I think they ran 273's.

Yes and it was hard pressed to run against the factory 302's of Ford and GM.  It was okay in the beginning when SCCA meant it to be a weekend warrior series but once the factories were involved it was game over for Mopar drivers.  Good thing GM wasn't participating in racing and they just coincidentally had that high revving race smallblock available in the Camaro at just under the legal size limit.  At least Ford openly admitted they were going for that crown.

Still find the '68 Grille on the '67 a little weird....  :scratchchin:
