Jim I'd say as long as the crack repair was barely noticeable it should pass inspection, but being a Charger I'd go for a decent lens if you can afford it.

On a side note, I have a spare set that someone grafted an amber piece of lens into in order to pass South Australian regulations regarding turn signals not being red.
If anyone in Oz is interested in them gimme a shout.
Gotta love a '69

the thing is this, when the lights is off, the one (driver side) one is to noticeable at all, but when the lights are on, you can see the crack very very well.  :-\

Right now I'm kinda in the market looking for a decent an affordable set of lense's. Daily driver shape is what I'm kinda looking around for. :shruggy:

Here are some pics of the ones I have. One has a crack, don't know if its fixable, let me know.

Its a shame that crack runs in such a visible spot on the lens.. Not sure how you would fix it, You could use Q-Bond on the back of it to seal it but as for making it disappear i don't think your going to be able to..  So it all comes down to whether or not you wanna run it like that..  :shruggy:

Doc,

I was intrigued by your statement, so I did a bit of digging around. South Australian laws actually state that a car built prior to 1973 must have either a yellow OR red indicator. So the 68, 69 and 70 would be fine
