Yes.  Don't know the exact year but based on the other items in the mans garage I would guess late 50's.

the facial features on the red one seem to be softer and looks better to me . More of an arch to the eye brows also .

As far as I know , there was only one version avail and only in a goldish color.

But I'm not into them enough to swear by it, a friend of mine has one, so I'll ask to be sure.
