This is my first post. Not really sure if I am i n the right place. I am from Upstate New York between Buffalo and Rochester. I just purchased a 1966 Dodge Charger plus a spare parts car. The parts car was just that. Not many parts to be had from it. There was just very few parts to be had from it. It was a total rot box.The other car was a different story though. Solid from front to rear. No rot holes at all on the entire out side body. Had to replace one passengers side rear floor board. Other than that it was all minor work. I am a little far into it to take before pictures but I will try to get some taken in it's present state and a few as I go along. You will probably be hearing from me. I am missing some small parts and unfortunately I have sent money to people and received nothing ( no parts ) for it. That is another story.
You have a great site here and some very knowledgeable people. I hope to pick some brains.

Welcome to the site and First Gen Charger Fold.  There's lots of experience in these forums so don't hesitate to ask questions.

Regarding small parts, when you're ready, PM me with what you need and if I have it, I'll send it first and then you can send payment.
I've got odds and ends of extra '66 & '67 parts that came with our '67 Charger and have been trying to clean some of it out of the garage to make room for the wife's car for winter (or I'm in for a long, cold winter).

Good luck with your project.

When you hit "reply" to a thread, see the section just below were your typing, below that says "browse" tab, click on that, you can load from your photos on your computer browser there, then just hit post when your done... I think it is limited to sizes of pitchers & the number on each post maybe...

Going to try this picture once more. Not much luck up to now. Here goes

Dels1966

I know it does not look like much now but give me some time with it. It might take me a while because of my back and all but I will drive it all done by the end of next summer. The body has some surface rust on it but no holes. Have to find some parts yet and replace a rear floor board. I have wanted one of these since I was 21 and the opertunity just never presented itself before now. I have always been a Mopar man but all I have had has gone by the wayside for some reason or another. This one is for life and maybe another for my wife when this one is done. ;)
I would like to thank Shorty for the offer to send parts first and then decide if I want them or not. I have never had to do business like that. I remember when you used to take a man at his word. I am just glad that I ordered the $25 dollar part before I got the parts he wanted $175 dollars for. The fact that it was a fellow member stunk also. :shruggy: Live and learn I guess.
I thank everyone for the welcomes. You make a guy feel welcome.
