Trying to put battery tray back in. From what I thought I remembered when taking it off a few years back and what some of the pics on here are showing is the the support arm is attached to the front, inner corner of the tray and then goes up diagonally and attaches to the upper shelf of the engine bay by the fender tag. However, i do not have a hole there for it to attach to. Were there any other way that these arms went? where else would it attach? 68 Charger, 440.

Thanks

That pic is exactly what is puzzling me. I dont have a bolt hole or screw hole or any kind of hole up there on top to attach the arm to.  :shruggy:

Ckeck underneath the inner fender....it may have been welded/bondo'd or sheet metal patched over.

UFO

Was the inner fender replaced?
Not sure if the repo's would have the nut already welded on or not.

Fender wasnt replaced, but I suppose there is a possibilty someone patched the hole.  :scratchchin:
