Damn, I love the pink ones.  You stumbled right into a huge score, my friend.  And how awesome is it that you were able to reunite the real numbers with the real body? :2thumbs:

Welcome to the club.  Check out the '70 Charger Registry as well www.1970chargerregistry.com.

That is a rare beast you have there.

instead of removing & re installing the console brackets , they did this to a perfect floor  :brickwall:  , the motor has the h.d sixpack bottom end also , too cool

Vainglory, Esq.

Those floors are pretty darn clean!

No doubt !!! Wished my C500 was that clean........

And, by the way.... All '70 440 4bbls and 6bbls had the heavy rods (of which over time, everyone incorrectly refers to them as "six pack" bottom). I was guilty as charged until I gained knowledge on the '70 & '71 model year.......

with the exception of intake, carb, and fuel pump, your engine is identical to a sixpack engine.

What an awesome find! That's gonna be a fantastic car when completed. What are your plans for the resto??  :scratchchin:

yeah it kills me to watch it sit out like that , its been outside in a field since 89 but its going to have to go through one more winter till i get some slab work done & swap places with the duster  , id like to put a dana under it just cause & a little more cam & maybe a sixpack but considering how few there were this color im thinking pure stock is ok . im still kinda in shock that i even have it . i think ill be able to pull it off for 25k . then ill still have the 70 500 body to mess with  :yesnod:

Having restored TWO FM3 70 Charger R/Ts...and a 500..... www.pantherpink.com
YOU really need to do that car back total stock factory...Very cool car.
Why was it parted out in the first place?..Looks dry and solid..and obviously all there prior.

Troy..Where did you find the Pam Welborn pink Charger foto?...never saw that one before.

70 RT 4BBL 4 speed 'before' resto....looks similar to yours.

Scott Lindsay in Oklahoma City has the identical twin with sequencial VIN and Order numbers - both Sales Bank cars....his still needs full resto.

im sorry Kori its too late , ive already mounted a coon tail on a 8' cb antenna , added some hijackers & am adding the rebel flag as i type via krylon  , yes definetly 100 percent stock to fender tag & buildsheet . The previous owner had been losing his sight & the car got clipped in the rear in the 80's , the bodyshop used  a partial 69 rear clip for the repair splicing it on about 1/2 way in the wheelwell area & the guy wasnt happy with the repair , its a shame because it would have been easier to have it done right the first time instead of switching the dash & core support & all the other pieces , i just cant believe i found the original shell & its quite workable. unless some major income changes occur im hoping to have it done in at least the next 5-7 years (10 most likely). Its funny i was just checking out your 70 dart in the mcc 2006 issue , very nice , they have always been a favorite of mine . In 08 i found a very clean 70(340 4spd fm3) almost as nice as yours for $9500 , but it might as well been 100k with everything tanking like it was. im so happy ive found the charger , its definetly a dream fulfilled . Thanx for everyones appreciation of the car , its nice to see it admired , i cant wait to get started on it . first order will be getting on a body cart & beginng disassembly, but before i do that i want to have all the new amd stuff on hand. im kinda bummed out , i had used the money i had saved to finish my 72 duster(340,sharktooth, scoops , etc) to buy the charger so i hit the reset button again , but the charger was just too good to pass on , once in a lifetime kinda thing.thanx to all , John in Tulsa Ok

By the way, in case you haven't decoded the fender tag yet, it looks like it's very well optioned:

440-4bbl auto, FM3 pink (obviously) with black vinyl top, black longitudinal strip, (sweet!), hood pins, and black interior.  Power brakes, woodgrain interior with console, bucket seats, left hand rearview mirror, A/C with heater, etc.

Good stuff there.
