Real nice car, in fact - VERY nice car!

...but no undercoating  :scratchchin:

Also, no rear seatbelt clips and look at upper trim just below the window opening...

Highly optioned, according to the window sticker...

I've seen that one on ebay recently, love it !!  :drool5: That T5 with white goes rather well,my second fav color combo!!!!! It is optioned out very, very closely to my car.

Very nice!

I had no idea A/C was so expensive, that's quite a chunk of change in those days!

Missing the front bumperettes.

Good eye.... missed it myself initially. But now that you mention it, it's painfully obvious.......

Rear valance corners bonded over, driverside headlight door mislinged ,probally tab broken. missing front bumperettes. trunk lid mis-alinged on driverside. right rear upper pad not secure.
Front exhaust pipes look older than the rear pipes.
But still a nice car.

Being an SE, shouldn't it have rocker trim?  I also cannot see the seam from quarter panel to rocker either.

Nope...

2nd that "Nope" But mine does !!!  :D

Dino

So the rocker trim was optional or delete?

Always thought that SE's had the trim no matter what.

Still doesn't have the seam though...

Absolutely an option, not real rare, but minimal % had them, and alot of guys add them. They do look nice.Think I asked this to Chris before,if my memory serves me,2K plus cars in his registry, just over 200 are coded for it.Am I close Chris ?????

BTW,the first GL did !!! LOL

Dino

And here I thought they all had it!

A man can learn a lot on this board!

Yep first GL had them, at least until it cleared that pile of sand.....

May not be perfect condition or details wise, but this is about as close to my version of an ideal ride as you may get.

color combo and options wise

I hear you!  :2thumbs:

If this was a QQ1 car I would probably sell my wife and kids and mortgage my left and right stuff.

It is also an early car, before Jan 1st,so headrests were an option,The N88 speed control I beleive is rather rare.

December 18th, 1968  - Is the window sticker original, or a reproduction?

Looks orig to me,and on the undercoating, during the resto if they had it blasted in/out/top/bottom,had to paint the bottom anyway,I would to have NOT re-undercoated it.These cars look killer when the bottoms are painted, especially a color like this to contrats against everything else.Mine is an all orig sheetmetal/floors car with the fact undercoating still all present and mint, and when I do tear mine down for the resto,I will be leaving mine alone, just cleaning it up and touching up the color.

Yes!
And I see they charged $40.70 for tinted glass too.
I thought that came standard with an aircon car.
Gotta love a '69

Jeff_1577

Didn't think you could order A/C from the factory on an R/T version car, or was it just the 426 Hemi you couldn't?
