Has anyone bought a 440 long block from Rock Auto?  How is their reputation when it comes to the long blocks?  I've been considering a 440 purchase from them but it's not for sure yet.  Any advice?  Thanks.

IMO,
if you buy it,
I highly reccomend you take it immediately for an Engine Dyno session, with a "controlled" break-in and tune-up, BEFORE you put it in the Car.
That goes for ANY Crate Engine, by ANYBODY....

Things happen in this World....for time..... and Money....
Something for nothing, simply does not exist....you GET, what you PAY for....

I have no experience good or bad with Rock Auto...
I do however,
have ALOT of experience with 440 longblocks people have bought, for under $2000 "rebuilt", that with an "upgraded" RV Cam made a whopping 218hp !

Bought tons of parts for various cars from Rock Auto. Never a problem, Incredible people. Never bought a long block from anyone, thought. Food for thought: They are a distributor from what I can tell. They would be happy to tell you who their long block source is.
