I am working on my 68 Charger 440 BB. I need to replace the fuel pump. Do you put anything on the gasket before putting the pump on? I don't remember.... :scratchchin:

I have seen all this. But until today, I have never seen such a pain in the ars car like this 68 Charger!

I like using Permatex Hylamar.  :yesnod:

Or, you can use a simple RTV sealant on it.

Same here. Chrysler built millions of engines with just a gasket.

I like using spray hi tack on all flat gaskets. Let it tack up then stick it to one surface. The hi tack holds the gasket in place and I have never had a gasket leak.

I like using the orange hi-temp Permatex stuff....because it matches the orange on my 440....

Just sayin'
