This may sound dumb but I will ask anyway. How do I go about switching to an electronic regulator? Where is the best place to buy one and what other things do I need to switch it over? It it easy to do yourself. I'm guessing yes. Finally, how much easier is it to start your vehicle? I don't even have  a choke on my car and it's so hard to start in the winter. Need to get that fixed to. Thanks in advance guys.

well that prooves originally they were yellow and not white ? LOL

OK -  Let's discount the hundreds if not thousands of original tests and survivors that had them as the pic I posted. We will go with the ONLY magazine example of the yellow one with italic lettering on a pre-production prototype.

I will rip all the originals off my cars as soon as I get home today and throw them in the trash. I will also tell everyone I know with original cars to do the same.

Guys 2 pages to talk about what color letters are on a voltage regulator.

Here in 1969 assembly line they were yellow.

1970 and 1971 assemly line were white.

And that picture of an engine compartment has many production line differences.
