The temperature gauge in my 68 Charger has quit working. It was working sporatically recently but now it has finally given up on me.Are these know to be troublesome or did old age just set in?
( I can relate to that!) Are there replacements available? Thanks in advance for any info. Dave

Chryco Psycho

it could be the guage or the sender , if you ground the wire to the sender the guage should deflect , you can also test the wire with a volt meter it will have a pulsing voltage , if there is no voltage there then test coming out of the guage , if there is no voltage out of the guage but the oil & fuel guages still work then the guage has lost continuity & will need to be replaced or repaired
