And yet another chrome shifter knob...

Dave

sure its been discused before but
always wondered  why Daytonas seemed to have the 68 chrome shift knob more than the C500 , surly it should be the other way around :scratchchin: if it was a left over part  !! or  maybe a parts shortage with the woodgrain one during a specific SPDs /close vin sequences  :scratchchin:   ,i remember the first ever daytona i ever saw in real life when i was 15ish  had a chrome shifter knob (& at one time  many years ago   thought all daytona got the chrome one because thats all i was seeing  :shruggy:) ,  yet it has been mentioned if i remember correctly  a few/known original / unrestored  69 XP & XS chargers have had chrome shifter knobs from the factory / or look to be factory  also :shruggy:
just had a look at the road test on the 22" radiator daytona , (as all ready had it by the computer ,)  looks like it might be a woodgrain deal :scratchchin:

:popcrn:

Interior picture of 22 in radiator road test magazine daytona
.

not so sure now !! looking like chrome :scratchchin: been trying to zoom in , & stuff
but then could be wood grain !! thinking this as surly you would see the chrome button reflecting a little in that picture :shruggy:
