Does anyone know the story on this one in OH?

I've been watching this one. It jumped from 4k to 6k today but still seems within reason (reserve not met though ). I asked the guy to post pics of the fender tag and engine/ trans stamps. He said he'd post the fender tag pic, but didn't and said he couldn't get pics of the other stamps. So I'm a little wary, especially if the bidding nears 10k. Not that I don't trust the guy, but you never know, he could be wrong, or going on what the previous guy told him. Just posting to see if anyone else has been watching this one and what they think? I think this may end up as a case of me being too cheap to be a serious player on this one. But who knows.

All suspension replaced with new ? Need photos of that! From the glimpse of some of it (leafs and sway bar) kinda doubt it.

I'd be wary, too  That car is not worth $10k to me, numbers matching, even

Here is the  Q and A under the add does this seem off to anyone else?  As it sits it ran high 11's on those tires??  Also he can't stress how great the car runs though it sounds like he hasn't started the car since he's owned it.........

A:   Sorry, I won't reveal that. This is an awesome car however to restore, all mechanical systems simply need gone over,the engine and transmission already have been rebuilt, no big money will need to be spent on any of them, the interior also would not need big money as it looks nice now, the only investment at this point would be the body repairs and I'm including the expensive parts with that. Everything which needs repaired on this car is visable from the outside and most is the rear of the car as seen in the pictures. I cannot say too many times on how great this car runs, it was run on a 1'4 mile track as it looks, before the damage to the rear and just before I purchased it, with the tires you are seeing on it today, and it ran high 11 seconds! Pretty good for a car this heavy! Thanks, Bob

Yeah, I was a little worried. He stresses rebuilt engine and this and that, but he wont risk turning it over? sounds to me like he wants the price of the rebuilt engine included in the sale even though it'll have to be re-built again

Yea, the first thing I did after rebuilding the front suspension on my car was pack the torsion bar sockets with dirty grease too.

Lots of work to be done there , should not bring much more than it is now.
