Greetings....
A friend of mine wants to buy my 500s that are currently on my car....I have been kicking around the idea of putting steel wheels with the dog dish (ones with the red circle on them)...I cant decide

should I...

1.  Keep the 500s
2.  get the steel and paint them black
3.  get the steel and paint them silver (same as the car)

I am also thinking about getting 10 inch for the back....I currently have 15x8 on the back (2657515)  I dont want to get new tires however...

The change will not cost me anything.....thanks for the input

the first pic is how my car sits now...the 2nd is the look I like

Love the look of black steelies with dog dishes and white lettering.  If you don't take them I will!
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

It all depends on what you want to do with your car.  If I had a numbers matching car, I would put it back to the way it was built.  Otherwise, I would put the magnums on there as I like how they look on the car.

Have both.
I run 500's most of the time on my 68 but also have some steelies and switch it up once in awhile just for fun.
The car also gets stored in winter sitting on the steelies.

When your Charger is sideways, just give it more gas!

nelson_audet

on a charger i prefer magnum500 full chrome wheel with red line tire ! On my 69, i have full chrome magnum500 but i didn t have the red line i have BF radial TA tire.

the only other wheel i love on a charger is the kelsey hayes recall wheel... i love it.

Why don't you get a set of steelies and dog dishes, and change them back and forth as your mood dictates :shruggy:

I like the 500's.  Had them on mine.  I'd keep them both for awhile anyway just in case the steel appeal wears off. At least then your 500s to go back on.

Tilar

Steel wheels and send the 500's to me.  :D  Hell i'll even pay the shipping!  :2thumbs:   :yesnod:

I gotta go with the Magnum 500's , especially on that color. The Charger was a "Premium" priced car in 1969 for MOPAR and it should look it. With the 500's it does !!
