Wow. I had to look at that for a while to figure out what car that was.  Looks like you guys got rear ended pretty damn hard...

We where heading east on the "Beeline" highway. Its 2 lines east and 2 lanes west with a 50 foot grass median. The posted speed 70mph. That day it was a typical Florida day, raining like a tropical storm. The driver just said his car does not handle well in the rain. I look at the speedo and he was doing about 60mph. The he said oh my god!

He must have felt it start to hydroplane. About 30 seconds later, the car whipped to the left and we did a 360 in our two lines. We went straight a few yards then a hard left 90. I don't think he ever had control. We then started going threw the median. I knew we where going to cross the on coming traffic. I looked out my window and saw a truck coming and thought this is it. The truck hit right at the door edge, then ripped threw the back.

My right eye was pined shut from the door glass and my left eye was punched by the airbag. I shattered my elbow, broke my wrist, ribs and fractured my neck.

I was at a high trauma level that they needed to mercy flight me. They did not think I was going to make it. The flight was grounded because of the heavy rain, so I had to be taken by the ambulance. I was in and out of consciousness until I got to the trauma room. At they asked me what religion I was to give me my last rites.

That's why; everyday is a holiday and every night a Saturday!

I can imagine that you look at life a little different after going through a hell like that..... that picture made me silent for couple of sec's.
