This is when i got her

Some work (stoptech sloted rotors, hawk pads, full coilover suspension, new poly bushings, wheel bearings, sway bars)

And its current state (id much rather have the charger be in there, but shes getting a well deserved resto)

Car is a TON of fun, handles like a go kart...will do some auto-x this year  :coolgleamA:

Great find!  I had the 96' 328 5 spd and loved that thing!   Auto-x is great and you should be able to throw that around nicely through the cones.  I have an 87' Porsche 951 which I plan to hit some auto-x's next Spring!   :2thumbs:

Even better, I hope to upgrade to an S2 or 951 some day. Currently I'm "stuck" driving an 86 944 N/A with Konis, sport suspension optioned with bigger factory sways, and 4 piston brembos and rotors off an '88 951.

Ive driven N/A's 944's, there fun regardless...much less issues to deal with. But regardless they all have there quirks...did your hatch glass separate from its frame yet?  :P

bordin34

Haha not yet I am sure its going to happen though. I'm slowly setting my car up for autocross. I have coilovers to put in the front and will be getting some soon for the rear. I also bought a 1985.5 944 parts car.
