Truth is I drink coffee all day. Never really acquired a taste for tea. So enjoy your sun tea...I'll be asking for another cup of coffee!

Didn't think you were, Dawg.. Hell, I'm happy you said something really. I am pretty good about cleaning the containers I make it in, but then again, they are plastic and lately that's all I have been hearing about... My wife had a fit when my plastic water jug was forgotten in my truck!! She launched right into: THROW THAT THING AWAY!!!!!!

  A thread about coffee & what/how you like it, turns into a thread about sun tea...LOL... way to keep on topic guys...   I had a great coffee treat   the other night, while playing cards with my elderly Aunt & Uncle, good old Yuban French roast & some Old Bushmills with a touch of real cream & a Hersey's kiss dropped in for added flavor, I usually don't like all the sweet stuff, but it was really good cup of "jacked up Joe", with a slice of Peach Cobbler & French silk ice cream on the side  .... I occasionally like my tea too, but green tea & straight... But it can't hold a candle, to a good cup of Joe !!

Tea cake is delicious. There are many different variations, with fruit or without. I've only had good ones, the mrs. is an excellent cook/baker.

Yes it is, (but not too sweet) a good coffee needs something a little sweet to accompany it.

What's the difference between a teacake and a coffee cake?

Coffee cake would have to be coffee flavoured where as tea cake is lemon or vanilla flavoured and can come in plain or fruit versions. Apple tea cake is very popular.
