I got "fine lines" 3/8 pre bent line for my 69 from tank to pump.  I bought the clips too.  I also have left over parts!

I used one screw with the metal ring and this other straight piece with teeth on it and a hook that I hammered between the rocker panel and the floor and, hmm can't remember at the moment how many of those funny shaped things that you push into holes in the car that have hooks (more like a hanger) for the line.

Seeing how my car has been repaired and worked on by others over the years I'm opened to the possibility that I may be missing some factory mounting points.  Also, maybe the boys at fine lines packed extra?

I have 2 screws with the rings left and maybe 4 of those funny looking things that lock themselves into a hole in the frame.

So, how many screws/whatever do you guys have holding your line on?

with out looking  , there are 6 or 7 locking wire type from memory   & one bolt on loop clamp thingy !! that attaches to the rear shockabsorber cross member ,  i had two  bolt on loop clamps in the kit i had  &   two or 3 might of been 4  springy wire clips  left over !!  !!  on E body cars a bolt on loop is used to attach the line to the seat frame strengthening bracket  on the under side too  :scratchchin:

Dangit! I searched that megaparts site every way I could think of and couldn't find them. :brickwall:

Bobs69

Fine lines have got them too.

And real friendly staff too.   :ohhthesarcasm:

bull

So where do they all go? I know where the goofy-looking T-clamps go but not the others. I just got my mix-n-match set from Megaparts with got 2 bolts, 3 p-clamps, 7 T-clamps, 8 S-clamps and 1 J-clamp. :P

the bolt on P clamp  goes here !! see picture below  !!
, (no idea whos charger this is / was ! but had the picture saved  for years !!  )  but looks like   that line is slightly the wrong angle to sender unit :scratchchin: :shruggy:
the S shaped clamps  hold the vapour line to the main fuel line , ( space them out as best you can to hold the vapour line tight & rigid !!
only the main fuel line is cliped in the T clamps
best plan  is to fit the main fuel line & clip it in T clamps the fit the vapour line ,
no idea on J bolt ,  :scratchchin:  can't remember seeing that when i took mine appart  , of course i could be forgetting !   never had anything like that in the clamp kit though  !!
have you a picture  :popcrn:

can't show any pictures  mine  , as i bent  custom   3/8" copper line , just to see if the oem lines would fit round the torque boxes & chassis connectors i fitted !  , & still not got round fitting the OEM lines  :slap:

maybe other "P" clamp goes on front frame rail where it meets the firewall or slighty rearward of that.
