ANOTHER CANADIAN DAYTONA IS ALIVE AND WELL

Yes the car was advertised on Kijiji in March, 2010, over a year and a half ago!
At the time I was very frustrated with the progress of the restoration and in a weak moment was going to call it quits on the car and sell it as it was! Think it happens to us all!
I then realized I did want to finish the Daytona, and since March, 2010 I have spent lots of time and money to bring the Daytona back to where it is today.
I am very happy with the end result....and as all of you know Daytona parts are very hard to find and very expensive when you do find them!

Someone should have picked it up at that time, it was a bargain.

I hope some of the phone #'s i gave you lead to some info on the car ..maybe some pics of the early days. A fellow should look up the Archives of the Halifax Heald/Mail Star. I'd be willing to bet a high profile car like that made the news paper in the print ads for Halifax Chrysler Dodge..Maybe the same for it's sister at Dodge City in Dartmouth?

Just a question, please don't take it as a critique - is the lower door frame suppose to be body color or should it be interior color?

Thanks for bringing it to my attention....not sure myself.  checked a few others, some were the same colour as the car and some the same colour as the interior...so want to make sure which it should be.
Does anyone else out there in Winged Warrior land know for sure?

Black for sure with that interior color.

Black was painted on before body color and then masked off.

They are definitely available, the questions are whether you're limited on budget and what traits you're looking for in a restored car (OE/concours restoration? drivetrain options? numbers-matching? option/color package? -- just to name a few).
