Power window 68..

Wow, I don't recall ever seeing a 68 with power windows. That's gotta be a rare bird, no?  To bad there isn't a fender tag or broadcast sheet.

 my 69 charger 500 has 68 power doors on it  , they were put on after a theft of the originals

Wasn't really looking for more than an idea of how rare it is. Been looking at LOTS of cars lately and don't see a lot of 68s with that on the tag. In fact that's the first 68 I can think of that I have seen with that option. Maybe I just don't have much of a sample size.  

Of the fender tag/ broadcast sheet, I was referring to the lack of such items with the car in the ebay auction, I like to check them out. Kinda like archeology I guess (which I find fascinating).   In some ways looking at all these cars in the for sale ads online is like going junkyarding, in my own weird virtual sorta way.

My car is pretty unique in that it is an original Canadian ordered car with A/C and power windows. I have spoken to a couple of older car salesmen who were selling back then and they pointed out not many cars in the late 60s or even 70s had A/C up here in Canada. Most people didn't even have it in their holmes until the mid to late 70s. My car was order as a showroom car from what I have been told. I am the third owner. The guy I bought from said when he bought it from the original owner he was told by him my car was in the showroom when it was purchased new. He said it had been ordered by the dealer with just about all the polpular options at the time. (not the Hemi unfortunately).

My 68rt has power windows,ac and disc brakes. My 69 also has power windows and ac as well.

I noticed Electric Life sells bolt in conversion for power windows. Does anyone sell OEM looking window switches for the door?

No. If someone made new ones the originals wouldn't be worth so damn much. That driver door bank unit for the 69-70 averages about $100 used.

my 68 charger has power windows and the fender tag showing it is an option on the car....cant remember what the number was though.....no a/c but 383 4bbl HO...power drum brakes...power steering

FYI I replaced my front window motors.....you can get them at NAPA or Topher (member here) can rebuild them
