what you read... dunno why I don't feel confortably with the MP unit I got ( which is not HD ) nor Hayden replacements I have found. One of them just got last long 6 months or so

Now that I'm increasing CR, mostly sure will produce more heat on engine. My car originally got a HD unit being A/C, but not anymore good replacements like that, and MP unit is not HD.

I still have my original factory unit around for comparision with any unit I get. It's amazing it last longed 30 years!!!! and if not the factory one, its an Original Mopar replacement by the PN stamped ( looks like a Chrysler PN )

I've had the MP replacement fan clutch in my '68 going on 10 years now, never gave me any troubles. I believe the part# ends in "5704".
It comes with the MP viscous fan package, I just bought it for the clutch itself & installed it on an original "215" fan.

its the one with the brass plate in front I guess. I'd wish the full aluminium fined front look, like my car got factory. With A/C on a driver car this could be very important.

I have the Hayden brand, non-thermal style, on 3 of my cars....no problems ever....

yeap, Hayden ( edited, I spelled it wrong ) I have had to change 2 in around 4 years, last one just last long 6 months or so

I have had a Mopar Performance one on my car since 92 and still going strong the part number was p3769623.Cost me $100 Australian back then.

Right. That is the part# for the fan package. The number on the clutch itself will end in 5704 (I THINK the full number is 4065704??).
Take the clutch & install it on your stock fan. Ditch the fan that comes with the viscsous fan package, just use the clutch. Current price is now about $130.

I have one that I bought new but mounted that I got from a guy on ebay that couldn't use it on his car for clearence problems on his RR ( apparently he had changed the radiator for an aluminium one and couldn't fit this MP unit ). Barelly got used on my car couple on months before I parked it to build the engine.

well if you say I can trust on it, will see that.
