what do you guys think the widest tire i can fit on a 15x7 wheel for the rear?i currently have 245/60r 15s,and i need to buy new tires any way,i was going to try and get something a little meatier for the rear.also,how do you figure out the old type tire sizes,compared to the new metric?

mickey thompson has a L60/15 that is 28 inch tall,and a 10inch tread with,which sounds pretty good to me

  :iagree: I had a 265 under mine will still enough space to go larger

MY Charger has steel Cop Rims on it , they were on the car when I bought it so it could be the normal 7 " or the rarer 8" super Coupe rims

While they definitely fit better on an 8" rim, I ran 275/60s on 15x7s for years with no problems.
