Not only awesome driving but the fact she can read all that in the car is amazing.

RallyeMike

Misses the dog too. Major stress trying to read the course off in time and not f-ing it up. Great vid.

i've often thought rally drivers are more skilled than F1 drivers  :yesnod:
oh, and i'm that good.... in Dirt 3 at least.

Charger_Fan

I would have eaten at least 6 trees, 2 houses & flopped it into a field probably a dozen times.
The whistle/squeal each time he hit the brakes was getting a bit irritating, though.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I would tend to agree . I think Rally is the top of the heap as far as driver skill goes...

As much as is made about the skills of F1 drivers, those cars practically drive themselves compared to rally cars.

If you listen carefully she was actually running the notes quite a bit behind in most parts.

If you wanna talk about rallydrivers and insane drivingskills there's no way around this clip...
There's no way I would be in that car at that speed..
Try and notice how often the co driver says "maybe"... If I were sitting in the back of a car going at that speed, and the guys with the notes is going "maybe" all the time, I would explode.. "Make sure you moron!!!!!!"... Haha
Enjoy...  :2thumbs:

That is quite insane! "Dear God!" at 2:00 LOL!! Oh man, I would have my eyes shut! There is NO room for error there!  :o

I think when he says "maybe" it's code for that turn would be between fast and easy left or right.

It sounded like an electric car! Awesome to watch.

I would tend to agree I think it takes far more skill to drive on narrow combination roads, gravel, dirt, mud, tarmac, lava, tundra & concrete you name it, than a closed circut road course with mega down forces & big a$$ tires... Wish we had more coverage of Rally here...

yup Ari was/is a legend. had a almost fatal accident with a Group B car but came back.

we have a lot of great rally drivers in Finland. some time ago, more than half of World rally events ever had were won by a FInnish driver but now with years of Loeb dominating it´s not true anymore:(
I guess its because of the roads and winters we have. here is some old local driving on a gravel road. I have to drive a similar road 105 miles worth every day at work at speed of 50-70mph to keep my schedule
