There is also a Petty paint job and a Cheerios #43 paint job that were released as a "salute to Richard Petty". I think they were cereal promotion items. They come with black wheels instead of chrome 5-spokes.

In short, the answer to your query is "yes" they do make a third gen Hot Wheels. :2thumbs: I have a yellow '71 Super Bee from GreenLight that I got from Mr. John Bober for putting his car at September in the last calendar (it's a tiny version of the one below).

All 3 generations are available from Hot Wheels. The latest is a SWEET purple 70 R/ T!

Well I know this topic is on 3rd gens but I thought I'd throw in a couple pics of my 69  :icon_smile_big:  It's a 2004 production model and one of the only few HotWheels 69 designs that I know of.  Here's a couple pics!  Also, here's a pic of the unopened HotWheels I've still got hanging above my bed!  :coolgleamA:  because I'm just cool like that haha

You can get much better detailed 1:64 from Greenlight, which has several 3rd gens out NOW...Hotwheels also has a few colors of 3rd gens out NOW...I say now because that is what you are asking.  You can get online and find tons of stuff, but any walmart, target, toys'r'us etc should turn up a few on the shelf.

the Hot Wheels ones are ok, but he Johnny Lightning ones are better IMO. I have a 1:64 '71 that is a perfect match for mine, but I can't remember who made it. I'll dig it out of the garage tomorrow and get a pic.
