I was planning on doing the typical Charger calendar this time again with the nice restored/show cars but in the past I've had requests for a barn find/mid-restoration type calendar too, which is not a bad idea. And here recently I sort of stumbled across the reality that we might just have enough decent pictures with girls and Chargers to fill a 12-month calendar. I like to try to stick to a single theme from month to month if possible so I'm not entirely thrilled about a combination option, which will no doubt be suggested.

If I do a Chicks on Chargers calendar you can be assured that it will be tastefully done and the girls will not be spread eagle in a G-string or on all fours with their rear end hoisted way up in the air (or worse yet, outweigh two average-sized men). Sorry. The pics will be along the lines of what elanmars, finn and some other guys have posted here (examples below). No one wants to see your giant sister-in-law anywhere near a Charger and your wife doesn't want to see a closeup of some tramp's cleavage. My wife is pretty conservative so she'll be judging how tasteful the pictures are (the ones below have been approved).

As usual, despite a potential change in theme, lousy pictures just won't do. No out of focus shots, or blown out bright sunlight, no pics with your uncle's giant gut in the background or a big pile of pizza boxes. No power lines behind the cars or your green garden hose, etc. Look at the pics below and you can tell they are professional or at least close to professional shots. If yours look as good as those they will be considered.

A fair amount of voting but zero comments. Interesting. :scratchchin:

I appreciate the props here, that you'd consider my photos!! I have plenty of all 3 cars I've had so far (a 73 and the 2 69s shown here, I currently have the white one). If this is what you end up doing, let me know and I can send you high-res versions of the photos. You can also look through my flickr account to find more! thank you!

Now that my car is "done," I want in on this.  I'll have to get some arty-type shots of it for you.  Maybe tomorrow; weather should be nice.

Happy to go with the consensus and voted for option 4.
And keen to actually get a calendar this year, so if there is a pre-order list bull, then mark me down. Cheers

Im partial to stock / restored calendars but then again, I've had my share of half naked women on calendars over the years.    Wow, did I just say that???  Must be the married guy in me talking again!  Honestly I think with the chicks n chargers theme, my eye might get distracted away from the charger which is why I voted for stock / restored version.

There are lots of beautiful restored cars and posts/mag of such.  I like the old crusty original survivor, barn find and rare stuff (go figure,  :shruggy: ) :scratchchin:.   :drool5:

I voted chicks-n-chargers, but was torn between that and the survivors/barn find theme.  Maybe a combination of themes?  Chicks with crusty/rusty survivors ?

Now Dan, do you really want a sweet ol' thing to have to get a tetinus shot posing on a crusty / rusty survivor?

The problem I've run into when getting too specific with the theme is that it is difficult enough to find pictures that will work when all you want is a car in them. The easiest theme, one would think, would be the restored cars category because once the car is finished people generally like to get nice pictures of them. And yet I've always had to scramble to come up with 12 pics that will work because some of them don't look right (too bright, too dim, too much junk in the background), or eight of them are red cars, or 80% are 69s, or all the 3rd gens are '71s, or they're all facing the same direction, etc.

Nothing is set in stone, even with the vote, because while there might be 12 good pics of girls with Chargers out there I still have to find them and contact the people who own the pics for permission. And if that person hired a photographer to take the pics that person has to be contacted too. Anyway, it will come together. It always does.

How about something like this?

i would like to see a mixed calendar so i didnt vote for anything. whats wrong with a barn find on one page, a restored beauty on the next, and a deserted wreck with trees growing through it on the next? another thought was getting a collection of old dealerships and such................just a thought.

That's perfect. :2thumbs: But is there going to be some shots with a girl in it?

Vainglory, Esq.

My brand new wife said she'll pose.  Maybe she'll be okay with a calendar.  We'll see.  At the very least, we'll have a great pic for the restored cars calendar.
