It's amazing how much money can be spent on refinishing the dash frame, gauges, lens, & bezels, but the results are well worth it.

Richard,
Then you could get the original speaker restored along with the radio, fan knobs, wiring and on and on!
LOOKS GREAT!

I guess it looks ok, if you're into that whole clean, sharp, showroom, original, look.

Who did the bezels, pads, guages etc?

The radio & speaker work fine and the wiring hasn't been butchered, but the fan control knobs are on the list to get done.  :yesnod:

The guage cluster & lens were done by these people...

I had a local guy here in MA (who moonlights) refinish the dash frame, ash try, and replate & repaint the bezels. The dash pads are original.

I did a home restoration on the Coronet dash and it came out FANTASTIC...I tried to do it to the birds dash and it was a whole different annimal, I went with a new set of bezels from Mike Ross.
the craft store pens can get you by for a driver but for a real piece of restoration work you dont want paint pens replacing the vacuum formed chrome.....or whatever it is they call the chromed plastic chit. :shruggy:
