I didnt know they made repro seat assemblies. I like how they recline.

Saw them... no headrests.    I don't really need them although having some recline function would be nice.   Might work for some people that need something that looks close to a stock seat.   I trashed my old ripped up stuff 30 years ago for a set of 70 hi backs.  

This same place sells plastic seat backs for 68/69 buckets... I bought a set.   Not bad idea...  still haven't put them in yet tho.
They also sell some custom door panels with an abs backer which is also not a bad idea over cardboard that legendary uses.  Doesn't exactly match factory but
the price is not horrendous either.

I got all 4 door panels for about $200 shipped from an auction...  regular BIN price is $235/4.   Has 68/9 and 70 Chargers and RR's too.   Real SEWN door panels.   They're F'ing nice.    Not quite factory heat pressed seams like Legendary but less than half the price too.    Might be the ticket for some people that don't really care about total originality.

As for the plastic rear covers . I bought some of those too,but I covered them in the vinyl too. They look great nice and flat but still factory looking cause of the vinyl.

The big advantage with those is that you could have sex comfortably in the front seat.

I'd like to know exactly what the modern seat frame donor is. 



I also wonder about the tip-forward capability of those new seats for passengers to climb into the back.  That necessary feature rules out A LOT of possible modern donor seats that don't have it. 

There is one pic of these Ebay seats looking like it is tipped forward but I don't think it's far enough.  It could be the seatback's adjustable recline feature all the way forward and not actually a "tip-forward" feature we are seeing there. 



The factory 68/69 buckets aren't safe in a wreck.  The seatback frames are dangerously weak.
