i was just chatting with a mopar guy on fb yesterday who owned a white 880 station wagon like that,..  :scratchchin: He says he hates that he sold it... And of course i love the forward look rides like the D and the Fury, i always found it interesting the long ram 300s had 375 HP like out magnum engined B-bods. Thanks goodness for improved Tires. Great pics!  :2thumbs:

Did anyone else notice that this paticular car had 10 lug wheels on it? Little Dave pointed it out to me and they're not hub caps. It actually looked like chrome wheels with 10 lug nuts holding them on.  :scratchchin:

I don't know if they had adapters or what the deal was with it.  :shruggy:

God must love stupid people; He made so many.

weren't they the fastest car in   or the fastest car actually  made in Oz  you could buy at some stage in the 70s ,  E49 , think they were even quicker than the V8 powered cars   :scratchchin: :popcrn:

Pretty up on your knowledge tantop  :yesnod:

They were quicker than many V8 powered cars although the GT HO Phase 3 was the fastest 4 door in the world at the time.

I must admit I sort of laughed the first time I saw one but when I saw it on the track I just about died.  :o  It was out-running a 450 horse Camaro !!

Although different mentalities between the two countries I seriously doubt a 265 straight 6 Hemi Charger would be considered a muscle car in the US. Wonder how one would be perceived if brought to Carlisle ? I'm guessing most wouldn't even know what it was..

No 2011 Carlisle Picture record would be complete with out some rain shots.

The multi-hour storm on Friday.....I was waiting for the hail to start

Want to buy a used car? ....Carlisle offered a fee weather stripping stress test

Love this car!  :drool5:  :drool5:  :drool5:  :drool5:

He was one of the Canadian crew at the same hotel ( Ramada / Mechanicsburg ).   Pretty cool car... Some things aren't to my taste but whatever.     I really liked the side exhausts...   otherwise the billboards were too much on a black car...  flat stripes yes / billboards no.     I wasn't a fan of the hood / scoop.    He had it setup previously to run EFI but was running a carb now...  but hey... 11 second car from what I heard  :2thumbs:

I thought this A12 had the nicest "display" in T.

The headers on the Maxie in T were some of the prototype cast iron tube headers...  $15K was the winning bid on ebay for these suckers.

And how I spent Thursday afternoon before the kick off show... looking out the hotel window waitin for the rain to end....

That is a cool story - and that car looked SO MUCH BETTER in person!  :2thumbs:

It cleaned up nice, and looked like with a little more effort, it would be an amazing Charger again!  :coolgleamA:

Paint actually shined under the tent  :yesnod: Pics out of the barn made the car look filthy  :o

Yup...   it lived up to it's name.   Thankfully it held together until it got to NY.    He was given 2 full rations of crap about it on Friday :)

But at least he got his cherry broke  :2thumbs:
