This was one of my favorites of the show.  It was in the corral and sold on Saturday.  I was really hoping to see a nice representative of real 1972 Charger Rallye, but since I did not find one, this 72 was pretty cool.

Well I didn't get to take as many pictures as I had hoped due to the rainout on Friday.  Most of Saturday was spent in the swaps for me.  My favorites from the weekend were the triple black RoadRunner in the T pictured below, the blue Demon with the blown Hemi in the T, and a purple Demon with green stripes that was in the showfield.  I didn't get a pic of the purple Demon, but if anyone has one please post it up.  I think he won his class.

Hiya... You caught me...   I think we chatted very briefly did we not?       Felt like crap and had to clean the whole stinkin car from the overnight rain and whatnot.     Not a good morning on Friday.    Hope you had a better day :)

Awesome pics, Dan!!
You took a lot more than I did, that's for sure!  :smilielol:

Brian, a HUGE thank you for introducing me to Cliff Gromer.    Mopar Action did a photo shoot early Saturday morning. Even though the ground was covered with some puddles & wet gravel from the previous day's monsoon, it actually made for some great pictures. I'm looking forward to speaking with him again to finish up the specs/phone interview. Thanks!!  :notworthy:

Not that I'm picking favorites but BILL your car is AWESOME! When I was first starting thinking of my resto I wanted to do something like you've done but man you nailed it & I don't think I could've imagined it turning out quite like yours.

Thanks for the pics, thats more than I seen in person being there.Got there thurs afternoon, walked around swap meet.Fri,set up at my swap spaces, enjoyed the rain, good thing I was up on the hill,so it was dead for a few hours while sitting there.Sat,set up again, sold most of my stuff, hung out with Troy and walked the swap meet again, did get to go into building T to see some cars,Genes, in one word, over the top example of a day one Daytona ,and Bill440's creative thinking and craftsmanship of a car by clashing custom and original.
Left for dinner, hung out Sat night with the guys at the hotel, packed up Sun morning and went home.So basically never stepped foot onto the showfield,or manufacturers midway, car corral, retro dealship, etc.

Wow, thanks! I gotta admit, I was almost unsure about how people were going to take it. I figured, they're either gonna like it, or really, REALLY hate it. After hearing some positive feedback over the Carlisle weekend, I felt much better. And, if I might add, your car is kick-ass as well!

Paul, we only got to speak briefly. As always it was great to see you. Wish we could have hung out more. IMHO, despite the rain this year's show was one of the best ever. The weekend just flew by, again probably due to the rain since a day was lost.

Wish I could say the same Bill,my Carlisle experience this year had its ups and downs,my swap meet neighbor pulls in with his box truck and hits my truck, and another idiot driving his truck thru the isles, turns the corner to tight and runs over some of my parts on the ground!!!!
My good side of the trip was I picked up some awesome parts for my black car,a mint used orig center section grill, both left and right NOS headlight buckets with mint used orig doors at a very, very fair price, and a lead to score an NOS center section also !!! I went there not at all in my mind for grill stuff.

Kind of surprised to see that this site only had 8 cars register towards the club tent?  Would of thought there would be more than that??   :shruggy:
