Yeah seen this before.  We have a thread about it when it was 3,000.00.  Makes no sense at all, If you repaint it, it has no N.O.S value.  It could be 40 years old or NOS, same part.

At the price he's asking he should have had a paint supply mix up the correct paint instead of trying to appeal to the "looks better than stock" crowd at NOS plus prices.

Well, that's not the first time we've seen a loose interpretation of "survivor" or "NOS" in this hobby. And it won't be the last. The guy is probably trying to land the big one before every '69 Charger owner figures out that the grills are being reproduced now.
