Car carrier transport NY - MA Or maybe rent a U-Haul?

Can anyone recommend a transport company to move my rolling shell to MA so i can get this project started  

Or maybe someone on here has a trailer and wants to make some cash??  

Cars located in Brooklyn NY going to Halifax MA

Also considering just renting a u-haul and using my truck, any experiences??

If you rent a uhaul and they ask what kind of car you are hauling, be sure to tell them it's a small car. Chevy cobalt, toyota or whatever, because they have a weight limit on their trailers, and they have them so short that by the time you get a Charger on it, the wheels will be right at the back of the trailer. They also won't care that it's a rolling shell because they will go by whatever weight their computer says your car weighs.

Also your pickup needs to be a full size because they will ask what the tow vehicle is going to be. I had my 3/4 ton suburban and she made the comment "I think that's heavy enough to handle the trailer".

I rented from U-haul to haul my 73 about an hours drive with a 2006 Tundra double cab.  I knew it was back there but it wasn't any problem.  Read your manual.  Many say not to tow in OD so I didn't.  Kept it reasonable from a speed perspective.  Biggest worry will be fitting it on the trailer.  Mine was pretty close and it was a pain because it wasn't moving under its own power.  We used the sellers truck and a chain to pull it up onto the trailer.

Thanks for the tips...my moms actually here for the summer and since she hauls 2 horses with the truck and even drove em up from florida many times, I figure she's the one to haul the charger lol

Brian, just pick the car up today & take it to Carlisle to put in the swap meet. I'm sure you can get enough from selling it to get that new garage project started over in the side yard.
