me and the family went to the Petit Jean swap meet and i saw this 68 there they were asking $5000 for it had a 383 and auto no interior or windshield

Kinda hard to see from the pic but looks like there is a bondo job under that primer. I don't like the way the body line looks on that driver side. Might be a $500.00 car. :Twocents:

Quit being a cheap ass.
These cars are not growing on trees. This isn't a 4 door 64 valiant. $500 is an insult.

:iagree: Try and find a "decent" project car (if such a thing exists)
Make it idiot proof, and somebody will make a better idiot!

If you think Education is difficult, try being stupid!

I dont know what it brought or if it sold but i was thinking $3500-$4000 while i was looking at it, it was pretty rough for the money and a whole lot parts missing

terrible one

That car was on Ebay recently. Out of Little Rock if I'm remembering right.

Not a insult if you look. Sometimes all your buying is a title if you do not know what your looking at. I sold two 70 chargers last year for 700.00 without titles and if your willing to do the title work and start over with all new sheet metal you will wish you paid less. all I said is it might be a $500.00 car. Calm down bro.

$500?? It looks like it has a console/shifter assembly. What do those sell for? It looks like it has a grill too. What do '68 Charger grills sell for these days? How about a 383 engine, A727 transmission, and a 8 3/4" rearend? What about that front bumper and all of the glass (minus the windshield)? Doors, fenders, and hoods don't tend to rust too badly on these cars, so there is a good chance they are in good shape (and probably OEM). How much for those?

I don't know where the OP lives, but here in Maine a title is irrelevant for any vehicle that is 15 years old or older (it used to be 10 years old or older).
