fuel entering fuel line from front or back, does it matter?

Does it matter if the fuel is entering the fuel line on a Holley carb from the front or back first?  I have mine set up with the fuel regulator near the firewall.  Then it crosses over to the center of the engine and feeds the fuel line from the back of the carb.  Will this affect the performance of the carb?  The fuel line is a steel braided line with AN fittings.  I also have a gauge on it.

I don't think it matters because the pressure will be the same no matter which way its plumbed.

Tilar

Makes no difference at all that I'm aware of, and I've ran them both ways.

No it will pressurize the bowls with fuel either way you could use a straight Tee if you wanted to, once the bowls fill the float will raise & stop the flow at the needle & seat's, it stop the flow from entering regardless what direction it come from............ :Twocents:

Thanks.  That is what I figured.  I couldn't see it changing anything, just the way it looked.  Thanks for the opinions too.  Much appreciated.
