Easy fix for leaking wiper pivot seals

Thought of this instead of going inside and removing the the pivot and replacing the dried out foam seal .Neoprene rubber washers stretched right over the posts one large and 2 small ones less than $2.00 fix

That is basically how I fixed mine, except I had them out already and put the washers on the inside.

I also used a delta faucet/ shower valve repair kit and it's gaskets to replace the rotted ones on the speedo mounting screws.......

Like I've said, if my local Tru Value doesn't have it, then I'll order it.....

GREAT idea! Especially for me . . . I don't even have a wiper motor but have to deal with the pivots leaking. Thanks for sharing

Got those neoprene washer at my local tru value they do have alot fasteners  etc etc

I used to use a set of big-block valve seals on my Chargers' wiper posts. Worked very well.

yup...I have valve stem seals on my pivots as well

I used one of those Schumaker kits but this looks like it might have been cheaper and easier in the sense that I would have already had those seals laying around.
