That's the ones!  :2thumbs:
Pricey yes but they sure look nice!

Would you have anything to lose by doing the air cleaner mod?  I think it looks stellar myself.  Of course, you could get rid of that choke... :D   :nana:

 The choke is staying  :nana:  last thing I need to do is mess with something that works as it should. I've screwed up too many perfectly good working parts by trying to modify them.

If I cut it I can't return it. But I do really like it. I'm working on the car all day Saturday so I'm going to throw it on there and try to make a decision after looking at it all day.

You can adjust the air cleaner by cutting a hole in it to clear the choke and welding it shut with new material.  It can be polished afterwards and it would look stock.  It looks right at home in there so I'd consider doing this.

What size loom did you use?  I know you gave me the link to that stuff but can't find the thread now.  It looks real good and I may do the same.

Yeah I'm debating cutting it. I will sit on it for a few days and try to decide. I do like it.

As for the looms, I used mainly 1/4", 1/2", and 3/4". Painless just came out with a new classic braid line that is more of a fabric. Looks cool but is expensive. I might get a roll of the 1/2" to see how it is.

Car looks great  :2thumbs: I like the Classicbraid wire wrap product from Summit/Painless, I used in my 68 RR build, not to be negative, but sorry I don't like the air-cleaner much, it's too cumbersome huge for a single 4bbl :shruggy: , it does have the same style/look as the valve covers like you said, it would grow on me maybe, but it's not my car thou, also the trunk looks great too...  :2thumbs:

Thanks Budnicks   Yeah I came to the same conclusion on the air cleaner after looking at it for a while. I wanted a clean and simple look but it just took up a bit too much space.

Well it took all damn summer and the start of Fall but finally everything is all good with my baby. With the new radiator the cooling problems are all gone. Temp is now at 170 at just about all times and getting stuck in traffic barely brings it to about 185. I let it sit in the driveway with no air flow to the front for a good 20 min after a 2 hour drive and the gauges barely moved. The radiator was the biggest I could fit (almost a 3" core with 1 1/4" tubes) with the electric fans but it's all stuffed in there without touching anything else.

Also finished up the braided transmission cooler lines. So much nicer not having any transmission leaks and the flex ability of the braided lines was so much nicer installing than the old steel ones.

Took it up in the hills today to get some exercise. Here are some pics

Dang!  You added mini headlights!  I went to the website but can't get it to work properly, likely the old browser at work I'm using that's to blame.

How much did those lights set you back?

Mini headlights is right, these suckers are bright! I think they were about $115 with the flasher unit and shipping.  :2thumbs:

Thank you white and red69

Just  received the lights, took 10 minutes to fit, bright suckers is right, also got rear LEDs  as well, thank you for showing them on here,,,,hid  headlights next
