Question with the pulleys/belts.  Have a 440 with A/C.  Do not want to use the reproduction belts or the NAPA belts with the cogs.  I have been able to get the the older mopar replacement belts for the A/C and the water pump.  However, I haven't been able to locate a belt for the power steering unit.  I believe the length should be around 40.75 and the original part number was 24002378.  Does anyone have the later mopar belt replacement number for the power steering pump (i.e. a mopar belt around 40-41 inches)

B0013441 is the Mopar belt I ran when I was running no A/C.  It is a 44" belt (the "44" in the part #)

If i remember correctly the belt for P/S is the same for with or without A/C

The correct OE # was 2951202 and was 44" as well  :Twocents:

Thanks.  I measured the power steering pulley in my car with a 3/8 rope and it needs a 40-42 inch belt.  A 44 inch belt is too long.   It's a completely stock 440/AC setup.  I think that belt could be either 40.75 or 44 inches, dependent on the setup.  Quanta offers a reproduction belt that is 40.75.  I would go with these belts, but I have heard nothing but bad reports.

I'll ck tomorrow morning and report which one I used

Which pump are you running?  Should be the Saganaw type.

I also am running a stock '69 440 A/C setup with the Saganaw type pump.  I am using the repro belts too.

Ill get some pics up of how much adj is left on the p/s pump....now the alt adj...thats another story :rotz:

Looking further in my pic stash...it seems like even the Federal style pump uses the 2951202 belt....this is a shot of NOS belts

Thanks.  I am using a Saginaw pump and that's the mystery.  It should be the 1202 belt (43"), but its too big.  A belt of 40-41 inches is the right fit.  Probably part number 2402378.   As a side note, on the back of your compressor is their a bracket that holds your negative battery cable.  On the pictures on Hoffman's Winner's Circle website, their 69 compressor has some type of bracket that holds the negative battery cable.  Mine, does not, but that doesn't mean it wasn't removed at some point.

Yes I have this U shaped clip that retains the cable...should be able to see it in this pic...

Heres a close up shot of the amount of adj left on the bracket with the 2951202 belt....right in the middle

Thanks for the pic of the belt.  Do you have a closeup of the u bracket for the negative battery cable.  Does it attach to the large bolt.  Also, I do not think anyone reproduces it.

Easy enough to fab up....thin piece of metal, bent & rubber coated
