Was just searching Australian ebay for Charger stuff and came across a sales brochure for a 1975 Charger.
Just wondering why I haven't seen any threads relating to this model in here.
Is it a case of out of sight out of mind or something more sinister?
Does anyone here even own one?
Gotta love a '69

There are a couple of people who own 4th gen Chargers on the site but we are pretty close minded when it comes to anything other than 68-70 models and we even argue and insult one another about those ones. (and I'm not innocent  :-[ )
They were cool cars in their own right though.  V8, real wheel drive, mid size.

OK, but what happens if a guy who owns a Prius shows up?

Nothing wrong with a Prius! You just throw it into the trunk of your Charger and have it there for emergency purposes in case the Charger breaks down or runs out of gas. You just pull the Prius out and drive to the closest auto parts store or gas station.

there are  a few 75 chargers and cordoba's still on the road around here. seen a few at monster mopar last year. they just became more of a family car like the monaco or fury. not as desirable as the older models. seen a few made into 1/4 mile cars, but the smash em up derby's ate alot of them.

1975 Charger = Cordoba.

A fine semi-lux, RWD, V8, passenger car. Not really a "Charger" in view of 99.9% of Charger enthusiasts, despite the badging.

I don't think that I'm going out on a limb when I say that 99.9% of the people here would rather own a '66-67 Charger than a '75 Charger.  :eek2:

All interesting comments.
I wonder if that model Charger copped as much flack as the current series is these days.
Albeit the number of doors seems correct.

There was one on eBay here about 6 mo ago. It was a straight, nice, 318 auto, one owner, low milage car if I would have had the money I would love to of got it for a work car.  1st gens rule!

Count me in on the .1%

Hey now I think its safe to say they stopped making chargers in 1974.  :smilielol:  :stirthepot:

I really liked those Chargers and I rank them as my second favorite behind the 3rd gens actually. I don't understand the hate towards them and the teasing they get is really uncalled for. They were the right car for the time and were definitely better looking and in some cases more powerful than the competition in those years (Mustang II, Camaro, etc). They came with big blocks, two doors, b-body, only difference is it was a nicer finished car compared to it's older brothers, what more could you ask for in the mid 70s when the emission controls and insurance costs were really killing the muscle car. In my view they were the last muscle car Chrysler produced until the present day Challengers came along. I have no problem classing the 4th gens as Chargers and also have no problem calling them muscle cars.  :Twocents:

I dig into a T top magnum more than a 4th gen charger
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

I like Pacers. Someday ill own one. If the old farts like to build General Lee clones because it was part of their childhood, then I should be able to build a Mirth Mobile clone.

I think the '75 Charger was forgettable in terms of looks; just a run of the mill mid-'70s family and/or luxury car. The 1960 Valiant is the ugliest car of all time in my opinion.

75 Charger was the "day late - dollar short"  Monte Carlo knock off.      But,,,,they rode great.
