parts left over

Well thanks to you guys I've been getting my car back together. Now I want to install my dash and I have the small screws that go on top but I have these three left over. 1 1/2 x 3/8 with what looks like countersunk cap nuts. Where do these nuts go? I've only been working on my rear end and brakes, steering box and pump, removed steering column and dash. Everything is back except the dash and these bolts and nuts left over. Do they go to the dash somewhere. I am not finding any empty holes anywhere. thanks

Definitely nothing factory. They look about like something you would see on a header collector.

actually, those look like the bolts & nuts that hold the brake backing plate to the differential housing

Actually I'm not to smart. Those cap nuts being bevelled make me think they go on something that is recessed. I already have the backing plate,brakes and wheels on.

Those 3 nuts sorta look like the wiper mounting nuts.The bolts look generic hardware

They look like 3/8 to me . Atleast on my moniter. Thats why I guessed header collector......

yeah your right  !! , sometimes  it s difficult  to tell with out  something else for scale on bolts / nuts  ,   like a ruler / tape mesure  buy the side  etc etc  
well the style on nut looks wiper motorish

I could be wrong too. Maybe the OP will chime in and let us know what size they are. Maybe the bolts and nuts are not the same size either.....

The size is in the first post I made on this page. They are 1 1/2 x 3/8. Thanks again for all the help guys.
