Guys I decided to go with bigger valves. I think after all the porting job and read lot of articles, is better simply jump out to get the FULL JUICE for that kind of job and simply don't get dissapointed.

searching I initiall thought on these which Mancini sells:
http://chucker54.stores.yahoo.net/manciniracing8.html

$219, HIS OWN BRAND and including locks.

but no, I can't stand paying that much where I think that TOO MUCH for JUST A VALVE SET AND LOCKS... and found these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390308019230&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT

it was on $60 action when I first saw them. Didn't know how much to pay as max bidding so typed the valves PN and found the EPN website:
http://www.enginepartsnetwork.com/valves.html

requested for the locks price ( Ted is how it calls who is under the email service ) and he told me locks are including as part of the sets... great! $108 INCLUDING LOCKS...

but things went better, requested the shipping quote ( inside USA of course ) and told me SHIPPING IS INCLUDING ON QUOTE WHEN BUYING DIRECTLY FROM THE WEBSITE!!!!

so stopped to watch the auction, specially now that it went more than the website price when adding shipping quote and bought directly...

doesn't look bad HUH ?

I hope they are good quality like description says and won't fail on include the locks because all what I have is the stock ones. Since will be some urgent to finish my engine job, probably I will get in in hands by ends of next week or earlier the other one. I will be getting them from my courier service by air instead by sea like I use to get. Will be arriving with a 72 and lates forged crank dampener I got in $40 ( for a 383 forged crank I'm searching locally ), short exhaust sleeve nut  and some other toys ( non car related )

also waiting for the crank and its conditions to know what bearings I'll have to get ( that will determine when to ship everything together... FOUND A NICE PRICE FOR ROD AND MAINS... around $45 for each set ( clevite P ), if I have to get in 010.

If standart I won't need to get them, I already have those.

Ted does sell a nice valve. You will not be disappointed. The locks he sends with the valves will work with the stock retainers only. If you have seven or ten degree aftermarket retainers you will need those style locks.

Nacho-RT74

7 degrees are stock ones and 7 is what he sends. I got hughes springs ( used just 4K miles as seller told me, on Carlisle 2008, $40 for the set, can't recall the PN ) and a new recent buy matching inner diameter Lunati retainers ( I think just .05 diff ). 7 degrees too.

Thanks, for what you said. Sometimes is some risky get the cheaper but sometimes you can win ;)

I bought the same style valves from him for my 318, although they're not in yet.
