Can anyone tell me what the correct engie angle is on a b-body? Is it supposed to sit level, tilted back ect....

Thanks!

trying to picture all my engines...I'm thinking level to maybe a slight tilt down in the back....but not much

someone who has a carb off their engine that is sitting in the car should put a level on the intake and see what it says

I believe most cars are about 2-3 degrees tilted back (trans down)...that's why the intakes are taller in the rear than the front, so that the carb sits level. The rear pinion angle should match the trans angle (but pointed 2-3 degrees up) so that they are on the same plane...am I making sense?

In addition to being lower in the back, Mopar big blocks are also angled to the right. http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,77696.0.html
